Transience and Imperfection in a New Gallery - Mannequins 1

August 11, 2013  •  Leave a Comment

I recently created a new gallery, Mannequins 1, on my website and I invite you to visit it.  The subject of the gallery, a mannequin I found in a junk yard, represents, at least in part, the Japanese Wabi-sabi world being beautifully imperfect, impermanent and incomplete. My intent and challenge in creating this gallery, was to tell a story, perhaps multiple stories, with images drawing on this mannequin's innate Wabi-sabiness.  Let me know if you think I succeeded in doing this.
